Pop-up science
Create your own pop-up book inspired by How Animals Live by Christiane Dorion, shortlisted for the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize.
In this interactive hands-on workshop, children can help illustrate drawings of animals created by Beverley Young, illustrator of How Animals Live, and use them to create a pop-up book they can take home.
Paper engineer Andy Mansfield created all the pop-ups, flaps, wheels and folds in How Animals Live and will be on hand to show you how it’s done.
