Street Science Busking

09 July 2022 11:00 - 15:00

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2022

Street Scientists by name, street scientists by trade, meet the team from Newcastle University who have mastered the art of science busking. From mind warping optical illusions to getting jiggy to the sound of a slinky, their demonstrations are sure to amaze and excite.

What does ketchup in a bottle of water have in common with a submarine? And, how can someone guess your birthday using only binary numbers? You’ll have to bump into the Street Scientists roaming around the exhibition to find out.
