Anne has over 30 years of experience of teaching and supporting mathematics education. She has worked in primary, secondary, further and higher education. Her teaching ranged from degree level to basic number skills for adults and children. She holds a first class joint honours degree in mathematics and economics from The University of Dundee and gained an MSc in mathematics and mathematical education from Leeds University during her first few years of teaching. Anne was an adviser in a shire authority and has worked at a senior national level. She is now senior adviser of Improve Maths; a company specialising in supporting leadership and teaching and learning of mathematics in primary and secondary schools. She is also qualified as an additional inspector, and undertakes Ofsted inspections of primary and secondary schools.
