Dr Jim Ramage

Since 1995, Chairman of the Tesla Engineering Group, a designer and supplier of specialist coils and magnets used in scientific and medical equipment worldwide. Prior to Tesla, Jim was a lecturer in physics in Oxford and at the Open University before entering the scientific instrument industry. Jim has served on the board of directors of a number of small technology businesses in UK, USA and Europe. He has a DPhil in experimental physics and is a Chartered Engineer. Jim was elected FREng in 2014 and shared in the Institute of Physics Katharine Burr Blodgett gold medal in 2018.
