Sammy Mason is an ecologist based in Durham and has a passion for working with young people and connecting them with nature. She has recently completed her PhD where she researched the benefits of outdoor nature-based interventions in schools and now leads a large schools outreach project at the British Ecological Society. Sammy has previous knowledge of the Royal Society Partnership Grant scheme as a STEM partner where she worked with a group of students on a camera trapping project investigating local wildlife.
