Alison Borthwick

Alison is chair of the ATM/MA Joint Primary Group, a member of ECMG and a long-standing Governor in a local infant school. Alison trained as a primary teacher but to date her career has spanned early years, primary, secondary, HEI and advisory roles. She is currently a UK and international education and mathematics adviser. Her various roles involve being a trainer, keynote speaker, facilitator, adviser, researcher, author and editor. Her current research interests include spatial reasoning, patterning and playfulness.
