Research summary

My broad research interest is to gain atomic level understanding of structure-function relationship in complex biomolecular systems with the aid of computational biology techniques and complementary biochemical and biophysical assays. I employ extensive molecular dynamics simulations and different enhanced sampling methods to understanding the protein dynamics in health and disease and exploring the allosteric druggable targets. Current research work is primarily focused on exploring the dynamics and ion permeation properties of membrane channels and understanding the molecular mechanism of ligand recognition and activation of nuclear receptors.
