Geoff Wake

Geoff is Professor of Mathematics Education and is based at the Observatory for Mathematical Education, University of Nottingham. His research has primarily been in secondary and post-16 mathematics education with a focus on applications and modelling. He has a keen interest in teacher professional learning through lesson study. He is Chair of Trustees of the educational charity Collaborative Lesson Research and has strong connections internationally in this field. His recent research has included large-scale randomised trials that have investigated interventions that involve teacher learning and the resulting impact on student attainment outcomes.
