Research summary

Studies are mainly relevant to efficient fast heating of high density plasmas with ultra-intense lasers. High energy density electrons produced in interactions of the high density plasmas with ultra-intense laser lights can instantaneously heat the high density plasmas with a temperature of keV order. The high temperature and high density plasmas are of great interest for a number of applications, including the production and study of very extreme states of matter.
