Jemma Sherwood

Jemma Sherwood is the maths lead for Ormiston Academies Trust, where she works with over forty primary, secondary, special and alternative provision schools, developing curriculum and teachers. Jemma is the Chair of Membership at the Mathematical Association and advises Oak National Academy on the mathematics curriculum working party. She is the author of several books and articles on mathematics for teachers and for pupils and has been an A Level Mathematics examiner. Jemma has a first-class honours degree in mathematics and Russian from the University of Birmingham, a Masters in Education from the same establishment, and is currently undertaking a PhD in mathematical cognition at Loughborough University.
