Jenni Ingram

Jenni is Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Oxford. Jenni previously worked as a secondary mathematics teacher in comprehensive schools in the West Midlands. She researches secondary mathematics education, particularly communication and interaction in mathematics lessons, as well as large-scale international assessments of mathematics such as PISA. Jenni is also a mathematics teacher education working both with experienced mathematics teachers, and those beginning their careers in initial teacher education. She is currently the chair of the European research group for communication, interaction and language in mathematics education and is Editor of the peer-reviewed journal Research in Mathematics Education.
