Mel Burgess

Mel is the Assistant Headteacher within a federation of Junior and Infant Schools in Lincolnshire. Over the last 5 years, she has worked as a mastery specialist for the NCETM, as well as working to build systems of professional development for primary teachers across schools in her home county. Mel is currently working on her PhD at Cambridge University, where her research predominantly focuses on the landscape of professional development for primary school teachers through the lens of complexity thinking.
