Research summary

Our research investigates how social interactions within and between species maintain genetic diversity, generate phenotypic variation, facilitate evolutionary change and promote biodiversity. Most of our current research involves experiments in the laboratory and the field on burying beetles, Nicrophorus spp. We also work on birds, including cuckoos and other brood parasites.
