Sue is emeritus fellow of the university of Roehampton and Chair of the Early Childhood Maths Group. Previously a London primary teacher, she has researched early years mathematics education and children with maths difficulties. She is a former chair of BSRLM (British Society for the Learning of Mathematics). Her current research interests include spatial reasoning and links between patterning and music.
