This international conference will explore the manner in which scientific ideas and objects have crossed the Atlantic, focussing on the relationship between the Royal Society and scientists in America in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Scholars from the UK and North America will come together to discuss aspects of scientific exchange and its material, cultural and intellectual forms. All are welcome to attend.
