A collaborative meeting exploring scientific opportunities between Spain and the UK

The Royal Society in collaboration with the Ramon Areces Foundation, the Embassy of Spain Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs, the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and the Society of Spanish Researchers in the UK is hosting this joint scientific meeting of UK and Spanish researchers identified as excellent in the research areas of societal challenges in Horizon 2020.

Topics to be discussed include:

 ■Secure, clean and efficient energy
 ■Smart, green and integrated transport
 ■Health, demographic change and wellbeing
 ■Climate action, resource efficiency and raw materials
 ■Food security, sustainable agriculture, marine and maritime research, and the bioeconomy
 ■Social changes, scientific culture, entrepreneurship, innovation and collective attitudes
