Does taking the bus make you ill? Are your friends challenging your immune system? Discuss the importance of travel and social contact in the spreading of infectious diseases with Professor Azra Ghani, and find out how you can minimise your risk of getting sick, without becoming a hermit.
Professor Azra Ghani holds the Chair in Infectious Disease Epidemiology within the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. Her research uses mathematical models to understand the transmission of infectious diseases such as malaria, to inform intervention policies.

This event is free to attend, doors open at 6pm and admission is on a first come, first served basis. Food and drink will be available to purchase from 6pm until 7.30pm.
