Make sure your half term goes out with a bang!

This exciting family event explores the world of rockets and space.  Come and explore the night sky and learn how you can skygaze at home using binoculars, planispheres and telescopes.  Make your own rocket and fly it to the moon and take part in some fun craft activities.

The rocket making session requires pre-booking.  Time slots are at 11.30, 12.15, 1.00, 2.00, 2.45, 3.30.  Please call 01477 571 766 to reserve your space.

The activities are suitable for primary age +

The Royal Society Young People's Book Prize celebrates the best books that communicate science to young people. A short list of 6 books is selected by a panel of judges and the winner is decided by groups of young people across the country.
