Overview

An art and science exhibition based on the theme of light.

This year, 2015 has been designated the International Year of Light to celebrate the science of light and its applications. Light plays a vital role in our daily lives and its use and study crosses nearly all disciplines of science in the 21st century. It has revolutionised medicine and expanded our understanding of the galaxy. Light continues to be central to linking cultural, economic and political aspects of the global society.

The artwork in this exhibit demonstrates some of the many ways in which light influences our lives.
