The science of good sleep for families

27 July 2016 14:00 - 15:00

Join Russell Foster as he explores the secret of getting a good night sleep.

Sleep is a vital part of our biology which is all too frequently ignored and undervalued across all members of the family. So if your family is interested in sleep or struggling to get enough of it then this event is for you! Professor Russell Foster will discuss and answer your questions on how the brain generates sleep and circadian rhythms, what happens when sleep is disrupted and what you can do to improve your sleep.  Families with children welcome.

This event is suitable for families and is part of the Manchester's European City of Science Festival.
