Industry Fellows College Event

10 November 2016 10:00 - 18:00

The Industry Fellows College Networking Event will take place on 10 November at the Royal Society.

The conference will address major issues affecting cross sector collaborations by bringing together past and current holders of a Royal Society Industry Fellowship and their collaborators. There will be keynote speeches from Will Hutton, former editor-in-chief for The Observer, Principal of Hertford College, Oxford and Chair of the Big Innovation Centre and Sophie Wilson FREng FRS and Professor Steve Furber CBE FREng FRS, designers of the Acorn RISC Machine (ARM) and Royal Society Mullard Award winners and breakout workshops on innovation and entrepreneurship.

The event will be centred on translational research and the sessions will give the participants the opportunity to discuss issues, concerns and successes, and hear about and participate in the wider work of the Society.

As well as past and current Industry Fellows, there will be a limited number of places at this event for others interested in the relationship between industry and academia. If you would like to attend, please email industry@royalsociety.org with a short explanation as to why you are interested in the event. As places are limited, we cannot guarantee that there will be a space available.
