1,000 Days: joining the dots in science for global child health
This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2023.
There are 149 million children in the world who won’t reach their potential in life because their start in life is impaired by poor conditions for good growth. A child’s first 1,000 days sets the bar. The Action Against Stunting Hub is working in Senegal, India and Indonesia to unpack this complex global problem.
Back in school, it’s hard to see how subjects connect. We’ll show a fresh, international perspective – come try out some of the hub’s community science activities to help you join the dots.
