This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2023.

 

The Electromagnetic Sensing Group at the University of Manchester is at the forefront of developing new technologies to improve landmine clearance.

 

Visit their Sensing Danger stand to learn about the scientific advances they’ve made in developing the next generation of metal detectors, how Artificial Reality may be used in the future to help deminers and try finding landmines yourself in a Virtual Reality landmine detection game.
