To Mars and beyond
This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2023.
Mars has long interested Fellows of the Royal Society as a location for extra-terrestrial life, with Percival Lowell’s first photographs of Martian “canals” published by the Society in 1906.
Join Keith Moore from our library team as he takes you on an intriguing journey through the Society's collection, exploring the scientific discoveries surrounding the red planet and the enduring fascination with the possibility of life on Mars.
