Overview

This event will bring together senior scientists across academia and industry to horizon-scan the risks associated with AI across scientific disciplines. 

Ahead of the Global AI Safety Summit, being organised by the UK Government, the Royal Society will be hosting an official pre-Summit workshop in partnership with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to horizon-scan AI safety risks across diverse scientific disciplines. The information gathered from this event will shape discussions held at the Summit and inform the Society’s upcoming policy report entitled Science in the Age of AI
