Talk: Big Manny – Science is lit

Meet TikTok superstar Big Manny and learn about amazing experiments you can try at home using ordinary ingredients, from chromatography to dish soap volcanoes.
Big Manny (Emanuel Wallace ) is a science-first content creator and music artist. With a master’s degree in biomedical science, Manny creates age-friendly and class-friendly content that is entertaining, educational, and experimental. Manny has a combined following of 2.9 million on TikTok and Instagram, has appeared on Blue Peter and regularly collaborates with BBC Bitesize.
Big Manny’s debut book “Science is Lit - Crazy chemistry and epic experiments”, illustrated by Subi Bosa, will be released by Puffin, an imprint of Penguin Random House, on 8th August and is available to pre-order now.

This talk will be held in the Kohn Centre on Thursday 4 July 2024, 12pm — 12.30pm.
