Talk: Minerals for a green future

This talk, delivered by Rowan Halkes, explores the crucial role of essential minerals in our everyday lives and their importance for advancing sustainable technologies. The discussion will highlight critical minerals to enable a greener future, how we can ensure ethical and responsible raw material sourcing, and how recycling can support these goals through a circular economy.
Rowan Halkes is Minerals Commodity Analyst working in the UK Critical Minerals Intelligence Centre based at the British Geological Survey, that will support the UK in reaching its goals in the critical raw material supply for the net zero transition.
