Quiet entry

06 July 2025 09:30 - 10:30 The Royal Society Free

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2025.

To support a more accessible and welcoming environment, the Exhibition will be offering a quiet entry session on Sunday morning, designed especially for neurodivergent visitors and anyone who may benefit from a calmer experience.

During this session, the number of visitors in the building will be reduced, and sound levels throughout the exhibition will be turned down to create a more relaxed atmosphere. A dedicated quiet room will also be available for those who would like a break from sensory input.

Visitors are welcome to explore the exhibition at their own pace and stay as long as they wish. Please note, however, that from 10.30am onwards, sound levels and visitor capacity will gradually return to standard settings.

Due to limited capacity during the quiet hour, registration is required via Eventbrite. While you don’t need a priority ticket to attend the Exhibition generally, those with a quiet entry booking will have access to a separate queue.

Please be aware that without advance registration, we cannot guarantee entry during this session.
