Co-organised by the Royal Society and the African Academy of Sciences, and funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund, the Commonwealth Science Conference 2021 will take place virtually from 22-26 February 2021.
The conference will bring together outstanding early career researchers and leading scientists from across the Commonwealth to facilitate joint work on addressing global development challenges, to encourage scientific capacity strengthening in Commonwealth countries; and to influence the Commonwealth policy agenda.
This is the third Commonwealth Science Conference, with previous conferences having taken place in Singapore in June 2017 and in Bengaluru in November 2014.
Under the overall theme of ‘Science for a resilient future’, the programme will include a wide range of perspectives from scientists from across the Commonwealth on the following sub-themes:
