Schools booking (3 - 5 July 2024)

Book your GCSE or A-level groups to visit the Exhibition and meet researchers from a wide variety of subject backgrounds sharing their work with the public.

The schools booking is almost at capacity. Please visit the Eventbrite link at the bottom of this page to check the latest availability. If you wish to be notified if a block of spaces become available, please email with your school name, group size and student age range.

This year, UK school and college groups can book to visit the Exhibition between 3 – 5 July 2024, bringing a group of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) engaged students to meet the researchers. The content of the Exhibition is best suited to students at GCSE and A-level (or equivalent) who actively want to pursue a career in STEM once they leave school, although some activities are suitable for younger ages.

Visiting school groups will be able to explore the whole Exhibition alongside the visiting public. Students will get the opportunity to talk with the researchers at 14 flagship stands, finding out more about the innovative science they are undertaking and a bit about their career pathways in scientific research. There will also be the opportunity to engage with a large range of publicly accessible interactive activities and attend talks (spaces permitting), with around 250 scientists involved across the entire week.

To support with planning, it is advised that schools book either a morning or afternoon slot on their day of choice, allowing them to bring a group of up to 30 individuals (including chaperoning teachers). Please note that there are no available spaces for school groups to take lunch inside the building and we recommend that lunch is taken before or after your visit. Also please note that all students MUST be accompanied by school chaperones on site for safeguarding reasons.

Please note that this booking is for registered UK schools and colleges only. Home educators and other groups are welcome to attend the Exhibition as members of the public without prior booking.
