Royal Society in conjunction with BA, CVCP, SCOP, COSHEP, BBSRC, EPSRC, ESRC, MRC, NERC, PPARC. This Concordat sets standards for the career management and conditions of employment of researchers employed by universities and colleges on fixed-term or similar contracts and funded through research grants or analogous schemes. The research funding will expect the universities and colleges to comply with the standards therein which recognise the importance of establishing good management practice for contract research staff.
