The Commons Science and Technology Committee has commissioned an inquiry into the opportunities and risks of 'big data'.
The Society's vice-Presidents, Sir John Skehel FRS and Professor Alexander Halliday FRS have written to the Committee to highlight recent and future work by the Society that may be relevant to the Committee's inquiry.
