The Royal Society has responded to the House of Lords Committee inquiry into the relationship between EU Membership and the effectiveness of science, research and innovation in the UK.
The Society provides detail of the role of the EU in funding UK research. This response also includes detail of the role of the EU in scientific collaborations, EU regulatory structures that impact on research and the EU's scientific advice structures.
