This animation and briefing on making better decisions in groups is based on the research work of Dr Dan Bang and Professor Chris Frith FRS, (Making better decisions in groups, Dan Bang and Chris Frith, Royal Society Open Science, 2017). It introduces the key concepts around improving decision making in groups with the aim of alerting Royal Society committee chairs and panel members to consider that by pooling diverse information and different areas of expertise, groups can make better decisions than individuals.
