Sectional Committee 7 recognises researchers whose work has led to breakthroughs in understanding of the functioning of cells. Candidates should have carried out, or made possible through the development of new devices, tools and approaches, work that has yielded important insights into cellular structure, function, behaviour, communication or differentiation, or developed applications of these discoveries.
