Research programme
Evidence gathered to inform the Vision report.
In addition to the open Call for views, 9 studies were commissioned to inform the Vision project.
These studies were completed between May 2012 and October 2013.
The final reports are available to download below.
The specific questions each study was required to address are included within the reports.
In addition to reviewing and synthesising the available evidence, each research group was tasked with compiling a forward-looking narrative, or ‘commentary on the future’, to propose long-term solutions to the challenges they identified.
In help build these narratives, identify potential drivers of change, and also to encourage cross-disciplinary working, the research groups were brought together for a one-day workshop on 16 July 2013 to share their emerging findings and develop their ideas about what the future might or should hold within each research area.
