Overview

Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery celebrate a modern day local science hero - Doncaster-born Dean Lomax, palaeontologist and honorary scientist at the University of Manchester. The museum follows the story from Dean’s dinosaur-loving childhood to his current success as an award-winning palaeontologist with an exhibition and series of free public events.

This family day event uncovers the scientific work of Dean with interactive activities and opportunities to get hands on with the museum collection. Learn about the work of a palaeontologist and uncover your fossil hunting skills.

The exhibition will run from Wednesday 21 June to Saturday 16 September 2017.
